Required Time Commitment: Depending on the tasks the volunteer wishes to take on, time commitments can be anywhere from 1 to 5 hours per week with time increasing closer to festival date and during festival. Skills Required: We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who are keen to help organize this year's festival and other events throughout the year. No specific skills are required. Organization Mandate: The Rossland Mountain Film Festival mission is to create diverse and accessible year-round programming that generates enthusiasm for adventure sports and celebrates mountain culture in a welcoming, intimate environment. The society serves the Kootenays, local business, mountain culture enthusiasts, and local media artists by creating first-class events and attracting high-caliber local and international films and presenters. The Society’s programming is highlighted by an annual signature event that draws visitors during the fall shoulder season.
